Absolutely wonderful scenery! The lodges are amazing and well kept. Food was different but really good and we loved the different beers the restaurants served. The hiking trails and great but by the lake there were so many bugs you couldn’t stand to be there for more than a few minutes. Wish there was something activity wise to do in the evenings and we found ourselves wandering after supper with nothing much to do. Staff was friendly and made our stay a good one!

This place is magical. The drive up was incredible with views on the mountain tops and these amazing 600+ year old cedar trees. The restaurants view was speculator. Coffee was delicious and I had their french omelette which was by far one of the best I've ever had. Great vegetarian options and service was excellent. The lake is only a two minute walk from the restaurant. I would highly recommend coming for any meal. The food is delicious.

Beautiful location in the mountains. We biked up here on the lazy lizard trail on a rainy day. We asked the servers if they wanted us to sit outside on the patio because we were wet and muddy. They said no, they weren't serving outside in the rain and to just come in! :) We were happy to be inside and warm. Our server was pleasant and honest about the menu. He recommended the beet sandwich and it was truly fantastic! The interior of the restaurant is very cozy and unique. Overall a great few hours were spent here.

Beautiful spot on the lake to have lunch and a drink on the patio. Bit of a drive off the highway but well worth it. We walked down to the lake but there are lots of hiking and biking trails up there that look nice. If you're hiking BRING BUG SPRAY. There are a lot of bugs on the trails. The patio at the lodge was actually ok for bugs.

Cool place to hike, went with friends on his glowing recommendation, after our hike we went to the patio to eat a late lunch. The lunch menu is very lackluster, wasn't impressed at all with it, originally I didn't even want to eat there after seeing the menu, but my friends ordered food so I did as well. I got the soup and sandwich of the day. When the server brought out our food the soup was different than what she told us. She should have told us this before bringing it out, since she just assumed I would be ok with whatever it was. It was a potato leek soup that had no flavour at all since the chefs had never heard of tasting it before serving and clearly did not believe in seasoning the food. Extremely mediocre food so I was pretty disappointed since my friend talked it up a bunch before we went there but the service was alright and the scenery was pretty so I'm giving it 3 stars. Maybe the dinner menu is better? Not sure, but I paid $14 for crappy food and my friend paid $20 for a burger and mushy toast (he's gluten free but they didn't have any buns and so gave him toast and then didn't toast it so = mushy toast... He was not impressed.) I would probably give it one more try but only if I was in the area, not if I had to travel to go visit it.
