We are a group of 4 and we absolutely loved our stay in the deer cabin. We had lots of space. The kitchen was well appointed. The views from the hot tub were incredible. Perfect way to finish the day after skiing at kicking horse (which is just a short drive away).

We stayed 4 nights in the bear cottage and it was awesome. Only 2 other cabins on the grounds (1 occupied at the time) and we could not even tell there was people around. Nice place to get away. There are a few hiking trails behind the cabins up the mountain. Take caution as there were large cat tracks. Very friendly horses on site we were allowed to feed carrots (with permission). The lady who checked us in and felt with us was great, our toaster did not work and we had a new one within 5 minutes. Would absolutely love to come back again!

The cabins are absolutely amazing. Gorgeous view of the mountains, and just as beautiful on the days it was snowing. Awesome trails to hike, and tons of beautiful scenery around. The hosts are absolutely fantastic; the cabins are stocked to the nines with everything that you may need. It snowed lots while we were there, and they were on top of snow removal. Would recommend this to anyone whom loves the homey, warm, secluded, mountain-esk feel.

Not only are the accommodations comfortable, clean and well maintained the location of each cabin offers stunning views of the area mountains. Easy to travel into town or to near by attractions during the day including Kicking Horse Ski Mountain, Northern Lights Wolf Preserve or Radium Hot Springs (A bit longer trip). Property includes trails for snow shoeing or summer hiking starting from the front door! Owners provided a wonderful binder full of area attractions, restaurants and tips to help us make the most out of our trip. On-site hot tub, perfect to relax after experiencing Golden's attractions. Looking to spend some time in the lodge, Satellite TV, netflix and youtube connection available through sony hub, grill and stove perfect for home cooking. Bring your own condiments, salt, pepper, cream and sugar provided. Only downside, washers and dryers are only available upon asking and require additional fees. Would definitely stay here again!!

Spent a week in Eagle lodge, beautiful well equipped lodge. The secluded location suited us perfectly and we enjoyed spending the evenings barbecuing on the deck. Although it isn't on the doorstep for the rockies, it is only an hour or so in the car to get to lots of the famous places. However you could happily stay local end enjoy lots of trails and outdoor pursuits too. It's great to stay in accommodation that feels like a five star hotel but with the convenience of self catering.
