This was a fantastic experience. It felt extra special, given that the bridge was only recently completed, and we happened to travel to this area at this time. We had no idea. I found the bridge very sturdy. Sure, it will sway, but there are four serious cables running along the bridge, and the bridge itself feels solid. I felt completely safe, enough that I could lean over the railing a bit to take this photo with the phone I managed not to drop into the abyss below. Yes, people have dropped all kinds of things on their journey up this mountain, like water bottles, flip flops, hats, etc. Make sure you hold on tight to whatever it is you bring with you! ;) Make sure to leave some time to go for a hike on one of the trails departing from this area. I suggest coming up the mountain as early as you can in the day, and bring food. Enjoy the views! Ray

It has to be between a 5 or a 10 stars day. Sunshine and line ups to the DublinGate just to get up the top of Whistler. The Guinness is consoling me from Dublin Gate. This is a treasure mountain. Biking is amazing! Sight seeing is trumps today. The Village is amazing!

To see the brand new bridge, we hiked up from village via Singing Pass, Music Bump and High note to Whistler Mountain Peak. The view was phenomenal and totally worth of it after 5-6 hours of uphill hiking.

The most amazing experience I have had in my life. It's not scary at all cause it's safe.

Great experience. Totally worth it. I suggest you take a pair of earbuds with you and listen to "This Will Destroy You" while looking at the landscape.
