Went to the Maidstone Inn for our Anniversary. We were warmly greeted by Lisa who walked down to the cottage we were staying at to show me around while my husband had a nice chat with the owner..It is in a beautiful private setting with an ocean view. The cottage was a cozy 2 bedroom with a fully stocked kitchen plus all the fixings for a breakfast of bacon and eggs. toast. jam. juice. and tea or coffee which we enjoyed the next morning. Outside is a picnic table muskoka chairs to sit out and enjoy the beautiful county side also a BBq for your use if you desire. Great spot!! we would highly recommend & the owners will make you feel at home..Loved our stay!!

Extremely helpful and friendly owners who go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Nice rooms and beds with a beautiful garden to see in the summer. A true hidden gem of Western Newfoundland for you to find.
