We hired Backyard Contractors to build our fence and we were very pleased with the service they provided. They were very neat when digging the holes and took all dirt and rocks in their trailer. They did not leave any mess on the grass and evenly cut the sod to fill around the post after they were set. The carpentry work was excellent as well and the fence look neat and well done. Everything was complete as discussed. We would have no issue hiring Backyard again and recommending to friends.

VERY professional attitudes, skills, and work quality.  4.5 / 5 Stars. 4.5 stars rather than 5, as we are awaiting secondary task completion, delayed due to contractor workload. BYC were chosen due to recommendation, completion date, and of course cost. Major contracted task was design, acquire all components for, and installation of a basement stairwell roof.  Our basement door (5 ft below grade) would fill with snow every year, forcing us to shovel (throw) snow 9 ft overhead. 9 feet is distance from the floor up & over the stairwell safety rail/fence.  As you can appreciate, the shovelling would be exhausting.  BYC braced the roof with 4x4 posts down cleanly through the 6 inch safety rail to concrete footing surrounding the basement door.  The finished work is GREAT, very very solid, aesthetically pleasing with all flashings, wood, and shingles blending with existing home structure.   Note, there still remains ample open area in the sides (roof to rail) to permit air movement, thus negating any possibility of stale air causing mold in the basement stairwell. I would recommend this company to friends & acquaintances.
