Had Brandon give me a quote to repair and refurbish my deck(a 21 year old three level structure). He is extremely knowledgeable and provided a reasonable quote to shore up existing decking and rebuild a section for our hot tub. His crew was amazing and replaced the bad sections of the structure, removed a structurally unsafe stair section, shored up another stair section and build a deck section for the tub that is complete with new concrete anchors and joists. It is well engineered and will most likely outlast me. The complete experience with Deck Doctors was fantastic, they were available in my time schedule and I will definitely use Brandon and his crew when we finally replace this deck. I strongly recommend Deck Doctors for anything to do with your deck projects.

Deck Dr. came out to do a quote to refinish my deck. About 10 days later I called to inquire about the quote and spoke to the Owner. He said my quote was up for their next meeting and would be sent the following day. About another week later I still didn't have it and called the Owner again. He then told me the employee who evaluated the deck did the quote, but he was on vacation and he'd have to find it. Said he "....would call me back the next day"...again, no further contact. Obviously not going to do business with an Owner who can't follow through with commitments.

This company has continually pushed back the work that is too be done. I advise you to look for a different company if you are on any kind of a time limitation. The only response I get is, we had to push you back, we estimate a couple of weeks, we will call you before we come. Avoid this company.

Contacted this company to REPAIR deck steps and framing and agreed to restoration/staining. Took 2.5 months for them to start the project and once the sand/wash/stain was done, they wanted paid but had not completed the repairs I hired them to do. Owner threatened to put a lien on my home if not paid. Took 5 times to get the repairs done and they still left part of the framing pulling away from the deck, unrepaired. Per the owner-they are also NOT at the Kendrick/Golden address they advertise - they only keep a PO Box. This was a horrible experience.

Deck Doctor has refinished my deck with sanding and stain for the past 3 years. I will continue to use them. Signed up for the annual plan after doing the full sanding the first time.
