The owner of this B&B is grossly false advertising this business on YouTube. He is unethically portraying and labelling MY houseboat B&B (Mo's Houseboat B&B) as his B&B to, arguably, get more traffic to his site, using my houseboat B&B images. Please check out 'the floating bnb' on YouTube and you will see MY houseboat instead, which looks nothing like his that he is advertising here. He is also using my houseboat images on another video that he has uploaded called "Japanese guests visit Yellowknife Bay". He does not have my permission to use images of my B&B houseboat to further his own B&B traffic.

Months ago, I had posted that Daniel Gillis, the owner/operator of this establishment, was recently in jail for his 2nd sexual assault conviction (on a different person), and 3 additional assaults including 2 of strangulation. He had responded with "yes, I was in jail for 2 months for unwanted hugging and kissing of my girlfriend of 8 years". He actually served 4 months of this 5.5 month sentence. My previous post is not showing up because I left public news links on my review for you to check out, which is unacceptable to Google. You will have to cross reference his name and Yellowknife together, to find these disturbing articles that will show he did much more than he is claiming. Take care out there and research your hosts carefully!

This is a really fantastic place - an amazing location in the middle of Yellowknife Bay where you can see the aurora easily, it's a very quiet and cute little cottage, but not very far from the city if you want to walk there. Daniel is a very helpful and accommodating host - we had a most relaxing and enjoyable time.

Because our floating home is located out in the middle of Yellowknife Bay, the address shown here is just the closest place on land (a friend's house near School Draw). In the winter, you can drive right out to the house on an ice road that measures more than a meter thick! We are surrounded by gorgeous waterfront views, and we see the aurora just by stepping outside! Please visit our website to get more information and read some of the great reviews we've received from our guests. Hope you can visit us someday!
