We had a wonderful time when we stayed here in early April. Staying on the lake ice is pretty amazing, and we also saw some great northern lights. Aside from the spectacular setting, the accommodation is so much fun! The units are very comfortable and cozy. Monique is a great hostess - she was really warm and friendly. The breakfasts were great too! I'd highly recommend this place if you are looking for something fun and adventurous.

Our family recently enjoyed 3 unique & memorable days on Mo's houseboat. The "off grid" accommodation was well fitted out with all the conveniences and Mo provided excellent provisions for our breakfasts. The large room with ensuite bathroom, kitchenette/ dining area, lounge and large bed were thoughtfully laid out. There are generous windows overlooking the water scenery of rocks, waterfowl and bird life. Nature is right outside your door and its easy to simply spend time lounging on the deck in comfortable chairs while using the BBQ. Hardworking Mo was attentive to our needs, was always available by texting and gave us excellent suggestions about places to see. This is a very unique way to experience Yellowknife.

A magical place to be. What an amazing experience, on the Great Slave lake. In a little bay a house, floating on water, a Houseboat!! I was able to experience it in the summer like in the winter...So amazing and unique. Best spot for sunsets, sunrises, and auroras of course! Water or ice you’ll find your favorite things to do in Yellowknife + very helpful and knowledgeable host.

We had an amazing time at Mo’s houseboat. We stayed in the sunrise suite but could use the patio of the sunset suite as well since it wasn’t occupied. The view from the house boat is spectacular and Mo is a great host. This is a perfect and very unique place to relax.
