Lumber prices are almost always way better than the big box stores. I just spent almost half of what I would have at Lowes for the same pieces of cedar. Better selection too. It is a lumber yard so I expect that but still. Customer service is great, the guys are super friendly.

They have marine plywood here. You can't get it at most lumberyards.

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever recieved. The first thing I noticed was the dirty dishes in the sink of one of the kitchen showrooms, after waiting a while, one of the salespeople approached my wife and I, didn't introduce herself, and in her most disinterested tone, offered to help us. Mind you, no one else was in the place, now I know why. I explained I wanted to update my kitchen and gave her the dimensions, she took the paper I had them written on, and disappeared for so long I began to think she got lost. With no explanation of any products, she returned and pointed at some cabinets and said start their. Now keep in mind, I had just left Kretts kitchen and baths in Wyandotte where I received a Guesstimate of $14000-$17000, which I told her.She said she might be able to find something, but I wouldn't have much to select from. She then proceeded to laugh in my face about the guestimate, and said she might be able to piece something together in the $20000 range. Now, I could have paid that, and I wanted to spend more on some other projects, but I won't spend a dime at Mans, they were all too busy chatting and eating amongst themselves. Go see Bill at Kretts in Wyandotte.
