John from Mr. Handyman is disingenuous and dishonest. We were recommended 'parging' to seal a few cracks in the foundation last fall. $1000 later and by spring all the parging areas around the cracks were cracking off and bulging. We have been calling for 6 MONTHS about it with constant promises of 'coming by next week' and 'we are really busy right now' and he has never actually returned to our house to even look at the problems, never mind repair the shoddy work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! They do not stand by their work at all.

I had a big problem that needed to be fixed on a short deadline and these guys really came through for me. Al did an exceptional job repairing the hole in my ceiling. Professional, trustworthy and friendly service.

I called Mr. Handyman of Simcoe West to install an awning for my elderly mother in law. I live far away and wanted a reliable person. A man named John Arundel arrived at her house and installed the awning. Him and his guy were there for just under an hour and charged $250. It wasn't until I went to visit my mother in law that I saw what he had done. He secured one of the anchors but left 2 loose. The 2 were barely hanging! He also cracked a few bricks and told me that he didn't need to drill new holes as the existing holes from the previous awning were still good. This was not true. My mother in law didn't say anything about it as she didn't want to cause a problem! I spoke to the Mr. Handyman Corporate office. John came back out quickly and fixed the job. At the end of the day he blantally lied and left an awning hanging dangerously for an elderly women to use until I contacted the franchiser. I don't usually post reviews, but wow.

We had a new acrylic wheelchair accessible shower installed by Mr.Handyman. The work was completed ontime, the installers were polite, courteous, consciencious & cleaned up any mess left each day. I would definitely recommend & use the services of Mr.Handyman. C.Renaud
