Framewerks removed my asphalt driveway they did a good job and the price was reasonable.

We had Framewerks in to do some Bobcat work for a foundation (excavation, trenching, and backfilling). Mike showed up when he said he would, did a great job, and the price was what we agreed to.

We had them renovate our main bath. Complete gut job. The whole planning process went smoothly and everything we picked out was available (thankfully as we were heading to Cuba for 2 weeks and wanted it done by the time we got back). Handed them the keys and took off for our holiday. Kept in touch through email while away and there were no problems or issues, When we got home the bathroom was completed exactly as we had designed with Mike and it looked amazing! Every little detail was perfect for our arrival. This was our first major renovation and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

My wife and I have had Framewerks remodel our kitchen this summer. We had the cupboards refinished, new tile floor (large 12" x 24" tiles), recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting, and pendant lighting, chefs sink with Delta pull down faucet, Quartz counters, and also a custom island with prep sink installed. The initial meeting with Framewerks to go over our Kitchen remodel went well with Mike giving us suggestions for faucets, sinks, handles, etc. to consider. We also met with people from Progressive Counters to choose our new Quartz counters, the gentleman that came to measure our counters was very professional and gave us some great advice on the edge profiles. He even suggested having the kitchen island counter 'clipped' to make traffic flow in the kitchen better, never even thought of that but we love it. There was however a small wrinkle in our project. After we had the counters measured (and we signed the final drawing) we changed our minds on the Quartz color, so we contacted Mike from Framewerks. Mike said he would look into it and get back to us the next day. Mike got back to us that day and told us that the counters were already in production but if we really wanted to change the color we could do so and he would get it taken care of without any additional costs. After all this we decided to go ahead with our original color anyway (it was huge decision and we were second guessing our colors). Everything turned out really nice in our kitchen and we are very happy with it. A few months after our kitchen was completed, we had Framewerks replace all our windows and front door. Same experience again, everything was done quickly and turned out great. Justin and Sharon Telane

It has been almost a year since Framewerks began a kitchen and bathroom renovation. It was a 3 month estimate for completion, and it was completed on time, with most of the wait time being 6-8 weeks for custom kitchen delivery (GCW Kitchens....Great experience with them). It was a good situation...home was vacant, basement unfinished, easy access to complete project efficiently. There were many small issues along the way, but most of these were able to be resolved as the project moved along slowly. 3 Major Issues: -Regardless of quote, all work related to your project is charged at $69 per hour (painting, garbage removal, appliance moving...final bill breakdown had a $300+ charge to move a stove and fridge about 12 feet and plug in) -They advertise the electrical portion of their "Werks" group, which was a big positive for me, assuming it would be more efficient, easier communication and reduce costs. They sub-contract all residential electrical work. If this was transparent, I would have arranged my own electrical. Framewerks subcontracted the work, which was done very innefficiently with several problems, of which the costs were transferred to me in the end -Final bill was $5000 over the last agreed upon quote. No discussion, no explanation, no signed agreement.....when I questioned this, I was made to feel like I had no right to question these additional charges. If they wanted $5000 more from me, they need to justify/proof of all expenses from the beginning of project. They did produce time records for their employees which showed many errors/overcharges, etc. No receipts of materials used or sub-contractor charges were made available to me. I was not concerned about breakdown of costs until they surprised with the $5000 overcharge at the end, at which point I felt full disclosure should be made available to me. In the end, Framewerks is no better or worse than other general contractors.....Contract as much as possible yourself, and retain control of the project. Once, you sign a contract with a GC, they can do as the please provided they are within the timeframe and general work stated. GCs will not reduce stress related to a project, they will add some, and charge you for it!!
