It is worth the added experience if you want to be able to see the whole city. The glass gives excellent views of Lake Ontario, the city skyline and areas to the north. When the CN tower was closed in April due to ice build up, it was daily news. Definitely a must see if you want to remember a visit to Toronto.

Great experience. Amazing view of the entire city. Best time to go is before 11AM to avoid the lines.

Offers a different view than the main observation deck. Much clearer look down the world below through the glass surrounds. Tight aisles. Tiny elevator to get up 33 stories over the main deck. You can really feel the tower sway on a windy day. Should be part of the main entrance fee instead of charging a separate $15 fee.

Main observation deck is nice , but skypod is not worth of additional $15 , windows are small and dirty you cant really see anything special through them

You have to drop the extra bucks to go up here and see the view. The view is spectacular as you look over the city. If you really have the money, go up during the day and then go up again during the night. The staff here were very friendly and new the answers to all of the questions that I had the day I went. The souvenir shop below has a wide selection of things to choose from and you can find things to buy for all of those people at home.
