I've been to Upper Deck a couple times including brunch, just for appetizers and dinner. The most recent time I went, it was to watch the Raptors game and unfortunately their food and service was not up to standard. I thought maybe because of the game it is a bit harder to wait tables but it was not crazy packed. The waitress very kind but we only saw her about 3 times throughout the 3 hours we were there. We had to wave over other waitresses to help us. She forgot simple things like cutlery and napkins and so when the food came it was very difficult for us to eat. After about 10 minutes we finally had another waitress notice us calling her and she brought it over. Once again very nice and apologized. The food is alright, the tacos really threw me off because of their almost buns-like tortilla? If that's what you call it. However, the Slim Twigs were amazing! The bread was so soft and seemed like it was made in house. They always have something new and exciting on their menu and it's one of the reasons why I always visit Upper Deck. Definitely visit for the atmosphere and open windows on the second floor!

Good atmosphere. Food looks good, I haven't tried it yet as I was there for a pint. Beer is cheap during the week for certain varieties. Great options though as they do have a few craft beers available. The bar itself is very open and has windows that expand up to the roof so feels open. Good customer service and busy at times.

Been there a half dozen times (always someone else’s idea) and every time, the service is slow and food is mediocre or worse. Menu changes often...never for the better. Rooftop patio is completely unnecessary. There’s no view. And if you’re there for lunch on a sunny day, prepare for a sweaty time. I recommend regular Frans at the bottom. Better food and cheaper.

The server was very nice but unfortunately the service was pretty bad. It took a very long time to get our food, and two of the meals took an additional 15-20 minutes after the other meals. Multiple items we ordered never arrived. The food was decent.

I very much like their place. The 4 stars is because of the amount of stairs with no elevator. The beer gets really cheap if you come during their happy hours.
