This is an amazing attraction! We choice it because we wanted to see the falls up close. It was definitely a great choice. The elevator takes you down several feet in which you enter a tunnel that lead you to the opening behind the Falls. The views are awesome. You will get wet from the mist , but you get a rain poncho to put on before your adventure- it helps. You are not rushed ,so you can fully enjoy yourself. They offer pictures at the end - which you can purchase or not. It was not to expensive and well worth it.

I enjoyed this tour behind the falls! It's amazing to find out how the tunnels were dug and a neat experience to be able to walk through them! The elevator quickly descends ?125 feet then you are allowed to wander through the well lit, cool tunnels and out to the balconies at your leisure. We went at peak tourist season and there were lines and many people but still enjoyed the attraction!

Beautiful scenery! Wear comfortable shoes the floor is a bit slippery! To hear the falls roar was just beautiful. It feels so surreal! So beautiful! Breathtaking! Enjoy the view! Do not rush hang around ! Take many pictures

I love trying out new experiences but this is definitely something I would not recommend to anyone at all. Journey Behind the Falls is nothing special but just a way to lose $20. The staff is great and all but the actual view is nothing special, you don’t have much of an advantage going down the tunnels, the free view from above is the same. In retrospect, I paid $20 for a poncho that didn’t help since there wasn’t much mist coming at all. I went at night and got to see the lights change which I also got to see without spending money. I definitely don’t recommend Journey Behind the Falls, I wish I spent money on Maid of the Mist instead.

Very nice walk but very busy. We went in morning around 11 which is what we booked for but no one ever checked our time or our booking. Beautiful views of the falls. You end up beside them and have a breathtaking view of them. You won’t get too wet, at least we didn’t in the end of July but that could be different depending on the Weather and temperatures. Beautiful.
