I just had a consultation with Erik about repairing some kitchen cabinetry and he was very helpful, very honest and definitely knowledgeable. Ultimately the job ended up not being worth doing for us (it was a minor repair that would be too expensive no matter where we went) and he knew that ... so instead of trying to sell us on his services to make a buck, he gave us real-world advice on how to manage the issue and make our kitchen look great again, without breaking the bank. Other companies we approached weren't as honest. I sent over photos to Erik, he reviewed them seriously and gave us good advice on some options we could pursue. With that guidance we'll be happy, our cabinet will look good again, and we can save our money! Thanks for being so helpful, Erik. Much appreciated.

Hired Plum Kitchen and Bath to renovate our kitchen and powder room. We were very pleased with the results. Custom cabinets meant we were able to achieve exactly what we wanted. The quality is great. The job was finished in a timely manner. Their original estimate was exactly what we paid for, no hidden costs. We would definitely hire them again and have recommended them to our friends.

We met Jeff at the Home Show and arranged for a quote for our kitchen renovations from PLUM and two other companies - we chose Plum based on their assistance through the planning stage, price quoted and the fact that they were associated with Home Depot which brought them a lot of credibility compared with some of their competitors who were mainly interested in the size of your down payment. Jeff is very knowledgeable of the cabinet industry and provided us with several options and suggestions that were most helpful. We needed to have the existing flooring removed and replaced with plywood prior to installing new floor tile. We then had a new under-mount sink and quartz countertops and ceramic backsplash tiles installed. The kitchen cabinets were modified a bit to widen the pantry, install pull out drawers and move the fridge - then the new cabinet fronts with soft close hinges were installed. The work was completed on time with all the various tradespeople completing their portion of the job with care and competence. They were friendly, courteous and left the job site clean at the end of each day. The job looks great, the price was fair and we would certainly recommend them to all.

We contracted Plum Kitchen and Bath through Home Depot in March 2015 to complete a refacing of our existing cabinets and install a new quartz counter top. The installation was quoted to take 3 to 5 days to complete. The installer began the project mid morning on a Tuesday, by removing the existing cabin doors, counter top and prepping surfaces. From Tuesday through to Sunday, the installer would arrive around 9:00am and typically leave around 2:30pm and not return until the next day. Plum Kitchen and Bath also sub contracted a company called OK Granite to supply and install the quartz counter top. Once the custom cut counter top arrived at our house, it was obvious the slab was not cut to the proper fit. The counter top was 1/2" short on one side and 3/4" short on another side making it impossible to tile the backsplash. The sub contractor twisted my pluming and broke off the drain at the wall. The pluming was left broken for 4 days until the cabinet installer removed the broken threads himself. After the sub contractor left, I completed a through inspection of the quartz counter top and found 2 chips and a poor joint between slabs. I contacted Plum Kitchen and Bath, to have the subcontractor come back and fix the issues. Upon their return trip, they also brought a sliver of the quartz counter to fit in the gaps. The entire counter top was shifted over, and a sliver installed on one side. On the sixth day of the installation, the installer was 90% complete. The contractor took away some of the garbage that was generated, but forgot the old counter top, sink, and some scrap wood. I had to take these materials to the dump myself. The wrong drawer fronts were also ordered, the drawers we ordered were expected to arrive in another 2 weeks. The installer installed the temporary drawer faces for the time being. After 5 days of having the temporary drawer faces on, one completely fell off. Upon further inspection, the drawer face was only super glued on, the other 3 drawers faces were secured with screws. I called both Ty and Wayne to discuss and only got their voicemails and no return call. I had to call Wayne a few days later just to make sure they received my voicemail. Wayne advised he would have Ty call me to discuss. Ty then simply sent a text message, saying the drawers would be ready next week, no mentioned of the drawer faces that fell off. Three weeks later, another installer from Plum Kitchen and Bath arrived at our house with the correct drawers. He was able to install the drawers, make some adjustments to other drawers, and complete some touch ups. During his visit, he was here for 2 hours in the morning and then took off. I called his supervisor to see where he was. His supervisor called him and he returned 2 hours later to finish some out standing work. This installation tech, also commented on the poor wood work, the previous installation tech completed. The tech was not able to complete all of the outstanding work on this day. The installation tech, returned the following day to complete the dap install and final touch ups. Afterwards, I didn't hear from anyone at Plum Kitchen and Bath for 3 months. I called their office to inquire about when I would be billed and if we could work out some reduced costs due to the extended time frame, damages, counter top not being correct etc. I was told, they would speak to the managers about it. No one returned my call. At the beginning of September, I was contacted by a project manager from Plum Kitchen and Bath, about completing the payment. He came by my house to discuss the installation, get my survey and the Home Depot sign off. Again I asked about a reduction in price due to the several issues listed above. Again, he said he'll speak to his manager and call me. I never received a call, I did notice the following day a charge for the full amount on my credit card. Overall, Plum Kitchen and Bath was not an easy contractor to work with. Their communication was terrible, product and services are over priced, and installation timeframe not realistic.
