We ordered quartz for our perimeter kitchen countertops to compliment granite on our large island. We choose Granite Direct because the sales lady provided great service and was helpful in selecting the right colour which we couldn't find elsewhere. It took the full 90 days for installation. The install guys were good but arrived much later than scheduled. I've never had quartz before but I am not impressed. We've had it about 3 months and I don't know if it's still curing or what but patches of "grease looking" areas appear which cannot be wiped clean. I am extremely careful and I wipe down the counters 2-3 times a day so there is definitely no build up. My conclusion is that this is CHEAP product from CHINA that they are selling. Quartz is supposed to be an easy, durable, maintenance free product so I don't know what's up with this but I will never get it again or deal with Granite Direct again. When I called about this they quoted a website that said to use a glass cleaning product...which did not solve the problem! Beware of this company and their product from China......the price difference(which is minimal) is not worth it!!!! We were never contacted after the install. The website says that they do a Quality Control Visit.....never happened!

After searching for weeks for the perfect countertop, we found one we absolutely loved at Cabinet & Granite direct. Originally we were looking for quartz, however they had many clearance granite pieces for almost equivalent prices, so we upgraded and couldn't be happier!!! We were beyond impressed with their stone supplier and the massive indoor stone warehouse where we spent hours looking through the hundreds of slabs. It was incredibly nice to be indoors, especially in the dead of winter to take our time to hum and haw over their selection of stones. They offered a sweet home show deal and even worked with us to accommodate our extra requests. We were even able to make a matching table top out of the remaining granite from the countertops! Our designer/rep remained available anytime via text/phone, even after hours for our many many questions. All of the staff has been so helpful through the whole process, we couldn't recommend a better company!!! I've posted a few pics of their office & SMALL cross section of their stones (currently under Renos, for a bigger better display space). If you're looking for a special countertop, you must see their stone warehouse!
