Please, please "HEED" the bad reviews for this company. We experienced the worst customer service......actually there was none!!
My wife went into discuss yet again another issue with the shower enclosure installation, only to be verbally abused by one of "the family ran business" owners "Mary Ann" & left in tears. Also Mary Ann threatened to call the police because my wife pointed her finger at her.....give me a break!!!!!
The process of having this enclosure started mid July 2017, it is now mid November & after "7", that is correct "7" failed attempts to install enclosure properly we have requested to have out deposit refunded. This is after we have to adjust our schedule each time by taking vacation time or re-arranging previously made appointments so someone would be home.
They have used several excuses from glass panels arriving cracked to glass panels being "bowed", each time they would reorder they would ask for a rush on the order & each time it took over 2 weeks. One of my questions to these installers would be why you would not check to see if glass panels were "BOWED" or have chips before trying to install at work site!!! Each time they came they would have to remove & try to clean any silicone residue as to make sealant adhere & each time it was worse than the last.
Another question that I have for the owner "Ron", who is supposedly the glass expert - is why he would not afford the installers his "expertise" after say, oh maybe, the 2nd or 3rd attempt. Especially when the installer has the same last name & I am presuming it to be his daughter.....talk about mentoring!
We also had already purchased over $1900.00 worth of accessories...what a joke!
Again I adamantly implore anyone who is thinking about hiring this company READ the very unpleasant reviews carefully & do not get suckered into believing that there is more good reviews than bad, as we did.
In closing I know that "Mary Ann" is going to come on the site & put her spin on this review. She is also going to tell you all that I called her on the phone, shortly after coming home to find my wife in tears.....& that I verbally abused her, but dealing with a snide, smug, condescending
b.... brings out the worst in us!!!!!!

As expected Bath by Design has done nothing to rectify our issues.
I emailed "Ron Gill" asking to have glass from shower enclosure removed & asked "Ron" to set a date & time to have these matters addressed... I received no response.
I tried a second email to "Ron" stating that if we didn't have a response by the end of the business week that we would have to use all avenues of recourse to have these matters brought to closure, including updating reviews such as this one, posting before & after pictures of the several failed attempts to install enclosure so others can see how poorly it turned out, contacting the better business bureau as well as Global consumers matter. Still no communication from Bath by Design
in "Mary Ann's" response to our original review "Mary Ann" states that their company have thousands of very happy repeat clients because of their honesty, integrity, & that their business is the" go to place for customer service" we beg to differ.
It is not the positive reviews that we are relating to, its the negative reviews like ours & others who all seem to have had the same horrible experience when things didn't go as expected. Bath by Design does not know how to deal with their own caused adversity & will spin the truth as to make themselves free of blame.
As far as "Mary Ann's statement of this being a personal attack, I fail to see where anything said to be untruthful!
I will post again once this saga comes to a conclusion, but honestly we don't see this happening anytime soon by the way Bath by Design has dealt with issues up to this point.
