Gus and Wendy got nasty really quick when we asked to be compensated for having to take not one but two days off of work because they delivered counters to us that did not fit and could not be fixed. They were completely unapologetic and rude. On the second day when the new counters arrived we called back because there was an issue with the stone itself, Gus answered and was unwilling to talk to me and told me to put his installers on the phone. He wasn’t even willing to talk to me. When I took the phone back Gus told us they aren’t the ones who make the stone and used profanity in relaying this to my husband and I after I said this is ridiculous. The ONLY positive thing was the installers they sent on both days. Cory and Justin were super apologetic even though none of what happened was their fault and were very professional and great at what they do. Dallas who came to measure was also a pleasure to deal with. It’s a shame such nice guys work for such slimy people. I NEVER write reviews but I have to warn people about Gus and Wendy and the way they treat people and the kind of customer service they provide. It’s not right. Its sickening. My husband and I didn’t bother pursuing the compensation they never offered because we were just too sickened by how slimy and rude Gus was. Keep your money Gus. You’re pathetic. After writing this review I noticed I received an email from Wendy and Gus threatening to sue us if we wrote any reviews slandering their business.

We miss you in Whitby. We made the trip to Peterborough after our call was redirected to the Peterborough store. The trip was worth it, Missy and Beverly were excellent and the prices were worth the drive. What a great business! Everything was in stock and the quality was second to none. I highly recommend taking the time to shop in Peterborough. Thank you for being more than we expected

After spending over 6000 on a new walk in tub for my disabled mother, we found parts were defective. After a week of trying to contact this company, not getting phone calls and emails returned, we finally got in touch with someone. At which point we were told we could get replacement parts at any pool supplier. You would think for over 6000 I could get faulty parts replaced without additional charge not to mention the hassle of finding and sourcing them myself. Would not recommend.

I had a great experience with Gus's Kitchen and Bath. I am an independent contractor with no affiliation with them and their customer service is one of the best I have had the privilege to deal with in years. James was quick to help out with an issue we had with a shower valve that was making a strange noise. He even took time to drop by the renovation and see if he could help. In the end he suggested they exchanged it with a more expensive unit no extra cost to our client to ensure it would solve the issue. I just wish I had looked to them in the first place before having 3 seperate plumbers come by to look at it. $$$ We ordered a tub through them and it was ready in the timeline they said as well.
