This review is an honest account from a former employee this year. My experience working for these guys here was not a pleasant one. This account is factual and honest %100. I can tell you that if your granite counter cracks after the moment we leave, we will not repair or replace, this is rare, but I've seen it happen, and you will be out of luck. The rest of this account is dedicated to Scott Barre, who is owner David Barre's brother who handles the fabrication aspect and work done on site. Upon being hired I was told by co workers that they have been through over 20 people this year for the basic position of carrying stone slabs and light fabrication and polishing. I wondered why, but soon saw how they love to berade and belittle their employees, especially Scott Barre. Scott will refuse to tell his subordinates where slabs belong, and will then attack you regardless of how you do your job. He will ridicule you and is a terrible person to be in a position of authority, no leadership what so ever. Steer clear of this place as a potential place to work, if you do decide to work here, steer clear of Scott Barre, he has a long history of abusing employees when no owner or office secretary is watching him. If you want to be abused daily, then go work for martin trumbore and david barre at their shop, i will say that the craftsmanship of the stone and installs are top notch.

We had a good experience with Katie, Martin, and Scott for installing. We were able to work within our budget for both our kitchen remodel and then a additional sink in our mud room. There was one small piece that was installed 'backwards' and Martin was great and came to reinstall it for us. Counters look beautiful, and glad the projects have been completed by such a competent, personable and knowledgeable group!

Barra & Trumbore were very professional from the start to the end. Every employee that I delt with was very friendly. Great selection. I love my counter tops.

Katie and the team at Barra & Trumbore were extremely helpful, patient and accommodating throughout the entire process from picking stone for countertops, scheduling the installation, and ultimately the installation of our beautiful counters. I highly recommend Barra & Trumbore.

Remodeling can be a dream or a nightmare depending on who you choose to work with. We chose to be our own contractor for a major home renovation/remodeling. By word of mouth we'd already known of Barra & Trumbore. Based on what we knew we made an appointment with Scott Barra to share with him our vision of what we were hoping to achieve. From initial conversation and basic sketches he began working with us to achieve the result we wanted. Beautiful stone is not cheap but Barra & Trumbore was able to help us narrow down our preliminary selections to what would work within our remodeling budget. Mr. Trumbore arrived at our home to take meticulous measurements, build templates on-site and clarify anything he saw as he examined the installation site. We were presented with a complete set of computerized layout plans and had the opportunity to review and make changes as we saw fit. When the layout was finalized we were very pleased in how quickly the work was fabricated and installed. We would recommend Barra & Trumbore to our closest friends without hesitation. Few contracting experiences in our renovations went as well as working with them.
