I have really enjoyed my experience with OK Granite, I have never done renovations before and I have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful walking me through the process, and their work has turned out beautiful! They have so much to choose from and my quartz counter tops have given my place a serious upgrade! Thanks everyone!

not good... not bad... just ok... Not a great place to deal with.. I mean look at the responses under the other reviews. Susan is quite pushy and hard to deal with. "Being in the industry for more than 15 years" doesn't give someone the right to question another about their experience. In regard to change of ownership, a bad experience is a bad experience. UPDATE: Who do you have record of? Apparently not anyone who is giving you low rating reviews...You're malicious..

OK Granite is NOT ok! They should not be in business - save yourself the hassle and go with a reputable contractor and company who has technical skill and integrity to provide a quality product and good service. This company was not able to provide either. While I may have been able to overlook issue with followup, where they didn't return my initial call, and I had to call several times for response, the decision this company made where they were not willing to help me repair my quartz counter-top was astonishing! They wouldn't even offer an alternative contractor to help, which is standard. Without even seeing the damage to my counter in person (common dull spots which other contractors advised could be repaired through a polishing process), they very quickly told me could not be repaired? Really? The issue was my counter-top was no longer under warranty as I purchased under previous owners who current owners bought this company from. They didn't feel obligated to do anything, and quickly distanced themselves as soon as they found out my counter-top was purchased from previous owners. As I explained to them, dull spots on my quartz were there in a highly visible area when OK Granite first installed counter, not something that happened later. Told them I thought a reasonable solution would be for them to take a look at damage, let me know cost of repair, and that we could perhaps share cost. They were not even willing to consider this, or book a time to see my counter-top. Sent them pictures via email showing damage,, and quick response by OK Granite was simply "cannot be repaired". This experience shows not only is OK Granite not technically skilled enough to determine a repair solution, customer service is not their priority. I expect when they get enough bad reviews on here, they will eventually change their company name to hide their bad reputation. Companies like this are not knowledgeable enough to realize how important it is for their business survival to focus on service and quality. Repeat business through good reviews and referrals by previous customers should be their focus. Based on my experience, and what I have learned about renovations, be very cautious when considering these type of companies - instead go with a reputable operation, who have finances to provide service and skilled people to do the work. Lowest price should never, ever be most important criteria. Technical skill and experience, as well as integrity is most important. Interview them first to evaluate if they will be honest, and if they have enough technical ability - ask for references. Save yourself hassle and don't go with these type of businesses as it will cost you in the long run. And in a city as big as Calgary, lots of competition to choose from - don't take a chance on small operations like this who don't know how to operate a business properly.

The granite was okay quality but the installation they did was not good quality at all they slanted the granite on the counter which makes all the water from the sink in our kitchen fall on the ground and the silicone was also falling off the counter I really do not recommend the installation from this company otherwise the granite its self was nice

OK Granite has great prices, friendly staff and fast service. They are extremely detail oriented and would highly recommend going for a visit!
