Shopped all over until finding this place. We were very happy with the selection, service, & value. We're not yet ready for installation, but are very pleased so far. Our sales representative (Jennifer Wojdyla) was very professional and quite helpful. Note that "Surface Encounters" is now "Cutting Edge Countertops", as they have merged with another company.

My experience was wonderful from beginning to end. I went to quite a few places before choosing Surface Encounters. The biggest plus was my salesman Keith. He was very helpful and most of all no high pressure sales tactics. He spent time with me even though I was "just looking". His follow through was perfect. Phone calls to keep me up to date, what to expect and when. In home measurement and installation was easy with accurate arrival times. I would definitely use them again and recommend to any looking for counters.

Once we decided to get granite, we immediately remembered driving by Surface Encounters many times. My husband and I made plans to do some initial looking around on a Sunday. Once we got there, we were instructed to take a look around and a salesman would be with us shortly. My husband and I walked up and down the isles, and picked out different slabs we liked. We were then greeted by Keith, one of the salesmen. He was extremely friendly, and when I explained what I was looking for, he took us around to show us all the slabs that they had. He was very friendly and made us feel very comfortable. He was not the typical pushy salesman. We were so satisfied with our experience we did not feel the need to look any further. We picked out what we wanted and Keith drew up the contract. Less than two weeks later the granite was installed in our kitchen. The installers were also very friendly and experienced, and did an amazing job. We will be returning to Surface Encounters when we chose to purchase additional granite for the bathrooms.

We had a great experience with Surface Encounters! Susan did a great job by first coming out to our home to review our kitchen layout and then by staying past closing hours for us to sign paperwork and pick out our style of granite. We were on a very tight schedule as we were going on vacation and wanted the work completed by the time we came back. I personally watched while the measurements were completed by laser from a very skilled and friendly employee. The entire job from tear out through the installation process was finished in about 3 days or so. To top it off, it was handled by my two sons who were overseeing the job while we were away. My boys said that the granite installers, tile installation, and sinks were all installed with no issues. All of the contractors were friendly and respectful to my sons leaving a clean environment when they left each night. We left for vacation with an old kitchen and returned to a sleek, clean, updated look. My wife was very happy! On a side note, we have had granite in each of our homes; the granite from Surface Encounters was measured and has fit the best. The laser measurements are the way to go vs. the standard template system that some granite installers still use. I would recommend them anytime. Paul

This was our first experience with replacing counter tops and with granite. Danielle Arabia was very patient and very happy to explain about the different stones. We were in to see Danielle several times, since we were not sure exactly what we were looking for as to color in our kitchen and she was very patient and worked with us each time. Once a decision was made for the kitchen she did a follow-up with us more than once to be sure we were happy with everything. We were very happy with all those who came to measure and install. Everyone was very professional and friendly. They were happy to answer your questions and not make you feel that those questions were not important. Since we were so happy with the kitchen we went back and saw Danielle several more times in order to choose granite for our three bathrooms. Danielle was more than happy to go outside with me in the cold weather and look at remnants for two of the bathrooms. Those two bathrooms have been done and we were once again happy with everything, We picked another slab for our master bath and Danielle worked with us to choose the best layout. The master bath has not yet been completed, but will be installed in the near future. If I stopped in on a day when Danielle was not there, others were happy to answer my questions. We felt very well taken care of.
