Wanted $900 for a standard 60 inch vanity. Went with adratic in Barrington and got my kitchen and bathroom done for $2000. Vanity only cost $450 with adratic. Rember, these guys are getting the full slabs you see in the warehouse for $400 which are 60 square feet. Huge mark up and this place is robbery

My wife and I decided to get new kitchen counter tops in our home. We called many different companies but no one was able to beat Old World Stone. They are truly amazing in what they do. We were VERY impressed with the people and the work they had done. Brian and his staff helped us and walked us through from the very beginning to the end. I am very pleased with Old World Stone and would recommend them to anyone who is working on a house renovation. Thanks again Brian for everything, You guys are truly the BEST.

Very disappointed to be leaving a poor review. My experience started out great. When I initially called I was transferred to Andy and had a great conversation about the project I was working on. At this point, Andy was very professional and friendly. Andy asked me to send him the spec sheet for the kitchen I was working on and some quartz samples I was looking to have installed. Immediately following our phone call I sent the information over. I waited a week and did not hear anything. Tried calling on a Friday but he wasn't in the office. I called back on Monday and got ahold of him. While on the phone he finally pulled up the email. He began reading the spec sheet and started asking questions. I was a bit out off because after 10 days i expected him to have a quote ready. Nonetheless, I decided that I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, as no one is perfect. Andy sent an email the next day asking a few follow up questions. I called him and we discussed the project in more detail and clarified any areas of concern. This was the last I heard from him. Over the course of two weeks, I called back on 4 occasions. On the last occasion, when the receptionist asked if I wanted Andy's voicemail again since he was out of the office I asked her if I could just work with another rep. I explained that to this point Andy had blown me off. She assured me that there must have been a mistake and that she would get to the bottom of things. She took down all of my information and said that she would follow up with me by the end of the day. It has now been a week and I have not heard anything. I am disappointed because I had high hopes that I could use a local and reputable company to install quartz countertops. I guess I'm lucky that their follow up and customer service is terrible up front. Saved me the hassle of dealing with that throughout the entire installation process.

OWS has knowledgeable and courteous sales staff, field staff and installers. The quartz countertops fit around the sinks, cooktop and walls perfectly. The tops were set dead level and neatly sealed around the perimeter. The installers did all cutting outside and they respected the owners property as if it was their own. I would use them again.

The owners son said he would be out to give an estimate for granite counter tops, not only did no one show up but not even a call, when I went into the business to ask why (and I took an entire day off of work to be home for this) the owner and his children where not in yet 10am, it's a Mickey Mouse company that has no respect for its customers...strongly recommend going else where!!!!
