Great company and great people to work with.

I recently purchased counter top through Lowe's. They use Advanced Surfaces. What a mistake. The Advanced Surfaces sales representative that came out to measure seemed knowledgeable. However, I think he was too busy talking to measure correctly. He told us we would receive a diagram in 2 days. After a week, I contacted the company. The person on the phone said, "I sent that a week ago." In my profession, if someone does not respond to an email, you follow up to make sure it was received. It was not. She had to resend it. She also said " I did not need to worry about the measurements, just go ahead and approve the drawing." I checked the measurements and they were incorrect. It took them 5 tries to produce a drawing with the correct dimensions. On to the installation phase... That was another nightmare. They were missing splash pieces and they had the sinks (had both bathroom counters installed) installed differently. One was further back than the other. The installer drilled the holes onsite, with my faucets in front of him, and still drilled them incorrectly. I have been back and forth with Lowe's as to who should pay for new faucets. If you want counter tops built and installed correctly, DO NOT use Advanced Surfaces. VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER

We recently purchased quartz counter tops from Advanced Surfaces this year. The original salesman was very helpful. They came and installed my counter tops as expected. I was reassured by the salesman that the people coming to install were great at what they did. I was soon to find out differently. These people came and started by removing the supports from the cabinets to install the sinks. After destroying the inside along the top of my cabinets while using a roto zip saw, I was assured this was how they normally take the supports out. Oddly enough my husband came home and removed the last set of supports to install the cook top, no damage occurred with the cabinets. Oh and by the way, he has never removed supports before. Then after all my counter tops were installed, a few months later, I ran into a issue with the counter tops. Being Quartz I was told by various salesmen that they were very hard to cause damage to. Unfortunately, with dropping of a utensil and a lid on the counter top, the counter top was chipped. When I called Advanced surfaces I found that the original salesman was no longer there. I spoke with another man, which was ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. He couldn't even tell me if it could be repaired and or point me in the right direction to people who could help me. When I asked if cabinets were suppose to be damaged with installation, his reply was no. He told me he would have to talk with the people that installed the counter top and he would get back to me. Still haven't heard from him. When I asked to speak to the owner or a manager, he told me no one ever gets to speak to the owner. Really? I could not believe what I was hearing. I just can not believe that a company that is selling a product has no knowledge about that product. I guess I could understand if I was buying something for $20, but for the amount it cost for the product and they have no clue? REALLY? I am completely disappointed with ADVANCED SURFACES OF CORRY PA. I now see how they treat their customers and would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM. Quite honestly one would be better off buying counter tops and having them installed by someone who has never seen a counter top in their life. I have learned a very expensive lessen and will not be so blind again.

In late Spring 2014, we had gone to Home Depot to order new countertops for our new to us home. Home Depot contracts out their countertop jobs to Advanced Surfaces. The countertops were installed when they said that they would be and they are beautiful. At the time of the measuring and again at the install, the two men from Advanced Surfaces told us to call them directly when we were ready to get our kitchen island. For the past six months, we have called the company and have been directed to voicemail. No one ever calls back. We weren't as eager to get the island done six months ago as we are now and it's so frustrating that no one will bother to call back. After all, THEY told us to call them when we were ready. Clearly, they are not interested in small jobs and only want orders from big box companies. If you can find another Corian dealer, do it! They have no interest in you as a customer.
