This Michaels location has less-hectic parking than some of the other Michaels store in Calgary. Lots of selection and you can usually find things in stock here compared to the one in Beacon Hills. Like other stores, they have kids mini craft events that cost only $2 every Saturday for kids ages 3 and up. Supposedly you can drop your child off at the craft event and you can go shopping within Michaels, but there is only 1 staff running the event and if they have more than 3 kids, there's no way that one staff can help your child if s/he needs help doing the craft. They have an app that lets you check for sales, coupons, and craft events. They always have at least 40% off one item coupon so ensure to use that coupon when shopping at Michaels.

Always enjoy shopping at Michael's and tend to leave with more then I came for. Clean, well lit and organized store. Cashier was fantastic and even assisted my friend in getting her Michael's app settings correct so she could maximize her coupons!!

Hate this location. The staff are horribly rude. I came in 10 minutes before they closed to quickly get a sketchbook and one of the workers loudly said “Oh my god, they’re still coming in when we close in 10 minutes”. It disgusted me and I almost wanted to leave. Along with that they were selling the same fine liners for 2x more than at staples. But I do admit that this location has a wide variety and selection of crafts and arts.

So much selection and craft ideas. Expensive but there's ways coupons and clearance. Great customer service at the front.

Not too much to say. There’s usually not many or no employees around to help. But it’s pretty easy to get around and find things on your own. They often have sale and discount items which I enjoy. Good place to just look around in, in my opinion cause there’s just usually pretty cool stuff. Have never had an issue here and usually come here for my art supplies and more.
