Wonderful quilting shop with a wide selection of top quality machines, fabrics, notions and books. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I love attening regular quilting classes at My Sewing Room. The classes are capped at 8 participants and lead by experienced quilters who guide and assist the students through all phases of the project.

Have 2 machines from here now. Love the service from these folks. Always ready to help with learning how to use a new piece of equipment or a new method.

What a lovely shop. There are getting to be fewer places to find sewing and quilting supplies these days. The ladies here are helpful. My only complaint is that the parking is sometimes hard to find.

Came there to see on layaway plan on serger. I was told by the manager to pay half price on sales item or regular price if not on sale before on layaway plan. I left went to Sew Sensational on Macleod Trail. Needless to say no half down payment start as low at $50.00 layaway plan. Another thing they won't tell you at My Sewing Room if you happen to change your mind you don't want the layaway and asked for your money back forget it you won't ever see your money good luck. Its their store policy you find out too late. I like the fabric but would never purchase any machines from there.
