This was my first time going here for landscaping materials. Needed some sod and grey limestone rock that I couldn't find anymore at the regular box stores. The sod was extremely healthy and looks awesome. What a great idea. Buy a pail and fill it free with whatever landscaping rock you want. I only needed enough for touchups and was cheaper than buying it elsewhere previously prebagged. Was in and out in no time and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. Thanks yard guy for doing all the loading in my truck! Convenient location as well. Will be my first stop next year for all my landscaping supplies!

They do sell firewood here. You came in, stop on a weight platform, they weight your vehicle (tare), give you an order number. You then proceed to go pick up what you want (bring your own container, bags...), come back to the weight; vehicle get weighted again then go to the office and pay. I got 20kg of birch fire wood for $8 +GST.

We planned on building a patio (Flagstone) for our back yard and planned on using on of the big box stores for the product. The South Common store let us down so we went to Burnco just of the Sherwood Park Freeway. Great knowledge, great price and very good service. I would use these guys again for sure.

The call center for Edmonton is in Calgary for some weird reason. I requested the soil be delivered anytime between 6 and 2. 145pm comes around and the driver called me saying it'll be delivered at 230. I explained to him it can't be 230 as there will be no one to show him where the soil will go. He said he was being loaded up now and wanted to deliver it today. I had to call burnco in Calgary again and reschedule it for the next day, and they asked me if it was going to rain in Edmonton that day. I had to put them on speaker phone to do a weather check for them. Mill Creek sand and gravel for me from now on.
