Really nice store, staff are really friendly. Wish they had more seed bead selection including myuki beads and slider clasps. Otherwise the selection is really good. Lots of different crafting ideas and classes as well.

A well stocked hobby store but pricey. This is usually my last resort if I can't find what I need anywhere else. The staff are generally helpful but I have experienced some rude behavior from some, especially when asking about a new hobby and being unfamiliar with the related terminology. They do have some good coupons and good clearance sales.

Michael's is one of my favorite stores. Love it

Michael's in Kamloops, BC does not carry anything for crocheters! I asked the manager for example, why such a meager selecton for tunisian hooks, double ended tunisian hooks and double ended crochet hooks., his reply..."we don't do the ordering, it's all conducted in Texas". 😕 ".... and no we cannot order specific items for a customer"! End of subject. Michael's store is a joke! I long for the ma and pa craft shops, at least if they didnt have a product you searched for they would order it for you.
