I have to apologize to Lori. There was a huge missunderstanding. I did not realize she was working behind the desk, on the phone, computer and who knows where else on my behalf. This lady really does care about her customers and tries her hardest for us. Thank you. Also to Stan who has worked many hours on my machine. It has been a long process for all of us in a most unusual, difficult situation. When quilting has become such an important part of one's life and recovery from difficult circumstances it is difficult when that is taken away. No fault of mine, or Lori or Stan but they got the brunt of my frustration. Sorry again. As a post note, maybe in the future some communication would be good. Just a text, every couple weeks would have been nice. I truly did not know. How could I?

I agree with another review here, I took my sewing machine here a year or 2 ago to be serviced and my machine still did not hold stitches. I also got my machine back with a broken light switch, which was also very loose, where as before it was firmly in place and working. He said he would keep an eye out for another switch from another machine, but that it was unlikely he would come across one, yet he didn't offer compensation. This was the only place I was aware of that serviced machines, If you want other options, go to sewing supply stores and ask for business cards.

I took my sewing machine in for a simple cleaning and service, and it would not sew when I took it home. Took it back a second time, was accused of using the wrong fabric, needles, thread, and rudely told there was nothing wrong with it. Took it to the dealer in Northern Alberta were I bought it from.....found excessive oil at the base of the machine. Timing was off. Needle set back too far. 2 screws taken off and left loose in the machine. Funny story. It was sewing just fine when I brought it to Findlays, paid big bucks for them to clean and service it. I had to pay again to get all the fixes done. Wonder if they just wanted me to buy one of their brand of sewing machines. Not happy. Asked for my money back and they became very mad and snotty. Never go here for service.

I had to write this review - I don't do very many, but when someone goes above and beyond the call to help you - well you just have to say something. Lori is awesome!! I have not met her personally yet - we just spoke several times over the phone because I live out of town. BUT she was AWESOME. The store was busy but she was so good at getting back to me so she could look after the customers that were there. She listened and helped me make a tough decision on which sewing machine would fit my desires. I ended up purchasing one - sight unseen. I have a friend picking it up for me and bringing it to me in a couple of weeks. I am so excited and so happy that Lori took the time to help me "land the plane" so to speak. Thank you Lori!! I am looking forward to meeting you in person next time I get to Kelowna. :o) I totally recommend you check out this store if you are looking to buy a machine! New or used!!!
