There is an amazing selections with clothing texture and any kind of sewing, knitting etc fabrics. Good price like as wholesale. most of staff ask me have cash before they cut any fabric. But same in other reviews, staff customer service is still no good. Especially the woman has green high-lighting with blond hair. She was grumpy in cashier and through the change to me. I still keep coming here. All staff have smiling and they all try their best service. Now I love this place and staff. Hopefully they can keep their service quality as well as today.

A Vancouver institution. Great selection and fair pricing. If I need something for a costume, outfit, or sewing project, I start here. They also have all the small hand tools one might need to do clothing repairs. They have a decent props and costumes selection as well that is there year round, with seasonal items. I find the staff to be knowledgeable and pleasant, but it can get busy for them sometimes. The location is very convenient, as it is a short walk from the downtown core and has reliable transit nearby.

This is a fantastic store with friendly staff and heaps of good value crafting stuff. The name 'Dressew' is a little misleading as it sells much more than sewing stuff, with jewellery and leather work supplies, fancy dress things and more. There are also a lot of things on sale for 25 cents, making it cheap and easy to stock up. Definitely worth a visit if you're a crafty type, highly recommended.

This place has been a favorite of mine for over a decade, and I always stop in when I come to Vancouver. The selection of notions and zippers in the basement is incredible - you can find just about anything you may need for sewing and the prices are pretty good. I bought 15 meters of mint green moire satin that I can't wait to do something with.

My favourite spring/summer top is completely frayed at the collar. My wife has given me the ultimatum. Replace the collar or get rid of the top. I have looked all over the world and cannot find the replacement. Today I visited Dresssew and was 100% looked after. Out of thousands of fabrics, they found me a beautiful cotton in blue that matches the blue in my top. Customer service par excellence.
