Went to the store today to get a refund back on the items I had on layaway. The employees told me that the manager changed the policies. When the items were put on layaway you have 10 days to get your refund back. When I did this I wasn't aware of the terms. Which the employee's did not inform me. Reason for getting a refund back is that I am moving. Before anyone puts anything on layaway ask questions. Now I have store credit to use in 10 days. I don't need anything in the store that won't fit in my vehicle.

terrific customer service...just moved to Brandon and bought living room and bedroom furniture..the store manager Ozvald (Ozzi) and the sales person Romeo were very patient..going over the prices, and financing options...the furniture that they have in store and the offers are exactly what they have advertised..no hidden costs... found the quality of the recliners and the mattresses to be excellent! would definitely recommend the store to anyone wanting to buy inexpensive good quality furniture...

I was recently looking to buy a bed for my daughter. When I was pricing them out I stopped in at Surplus in Brandon. When we were discussing the different options, the service was fine and friendly. But when I asked for the price of the bed, box spring and bed rails, things became very sketchy. The salesperson I'd been speaking to had written my three items on a pad with the advertised prices, then handed me off to a "manager" to discuss the price further. First of all, the advertised price was ridiculously high, especially for a place that advertises "rock bottom prices" (I'll add that I got a way better quality bed with way better quality service from Sleep Country for $250 less than what it would have been at Surplus). Then the manager (who I could barely understand) started offering me "deals" on other things in the store. I declined and said that the only things that I was looking to purchase were on the list in front of him. Then he said he could give me $40 off, but I would have to put a deposit down to lock in the price while I thought about it. My whole experience there felt very shady and high-pressure. I won't be back that's for sure.

Excellent Customer Service! Easy-going, helpful staff, and affordable prices! If only every store could provide customer service like this, what a wonderful world it would be for customers! Long after my purchase, I received incredible service when I had an issue. Will definitely go back!
