This store is great for notions most of the time. Fabric selection and quality is mediocre. Staff are usually friendly.

We've been going to fabricville in moncton for many years, and in the past couple of years, the place always seems unorganized. It's hard to determine what the sale prices are for which fabrics, IF you can find the signs at all. A couple of the staff will take the time to help you out (if there is enough staff). The store never seems to be tidy. There is never a time when the place doesn't look a mess. Clutter (boxes, abandoned fabrics, sale signs-probably the ones that you can't find by the fabric) all over the tables and floor. Many times fabric has dirt marks on it; maybe because the floors are dirty and bolts of fabric are cluttered on the floor where they cut fabric. There is no washroom and hasn’t been one for a few months now. (is that even legal?) Isn't a washroom an important feature especially if they expect a customer to shop for a while? We asked a couple of staff about their washroom; they have a portable toilet outside without a sink to wash their hands. The store manager who was working at the cash register when we were in, leaned down to get something, and everyone could see her pants seam was torn at her pocket. We looked further, greasy hair, and scuffed up shoes. Then, ALL THE OTHER THINGS MADE SENSE.

They have a nice selection and I got mine on sale. Very happy that it matched my couch I am making an ottoman out of a coffee table.

My wife was there today with our 4 month old baby, after 40 minutes of waiting for some help, someone came to her aid, only to show her what fabrics they had in stock for what she wanted to do and left. No assistance what so ever. She drove 30 minutes with our baby to go shop there and was greated after 40 minutes and left to help herself. If I could give a 0 star I would. Neither one of us will never step foot in this store again. May as well shop on amazon.
