I paid $60 for a small task and ended up with visible glue and loose fabric. The same job was done by Windmill Road Upholstery for $20 less, and came out looking professional. I will not be returning in the future.

If you need any kind of custom fit canvas, vinyl, awning or upholstery type work THIS is the place to go! There's nothing they can't manufacture. Maritime Canvas is one of the few remaining old-timey family run businesses and they will treat you right. TIP: be sure to inspect your item before paying, as custom work can easily need adjustment. UPDATE: I'm going to update this review by dropping to 3 stars based on an order I placed at this business. I ordered 2 simple canvas 2 inch wide shoulder straps for carrying drums in a marching band. Seems like a pretty simple order right especially since I provided a sample to work from, right? Wrong. When I went to pick up the order after something like three or four weeks, both of the manufacturer belts had been made incorrectly. So I left them there of course and it took yet another three weeks to get the final product. The total cost with tax was $180. The final product wasn't even all that great to be quite honest. This stitching was kind of haphazard and the canvas material was much later than I had hoped. I left 3 stars in this review because these people are clearly experts at making awnings and similar products. They get all kinds of contracts and produced some amazing results. I'm just not happy with the quality or Service delivery for my little order. Next time I will buy the materials online and do it myself for a fraction of the cost.
