I love Michael's. I'm sure some of the stuff is overpriced and you might be able to get a better deal or better quality at a specialty store (something specific to sewing or baking or painting or whatever), but I love the variety and just being able to wander the aisles. And as someone who likes to dabble is a lot of different crafty things, Michael's is one of my very favourite stores.

I have a love-hate relationship with Michael's. I love the store! I love the variety of products! The staff is friendly and interested in your projects... I hate that I always walk out with more items than I had intended to buy... no, wait, I kinda love that too. So I guess I just simply LOVE Michael's!

Can't beat the wide range of crafting products here but wouldn't shop here without the coupons. Sign up online & the coupons make the prices reasonable if you can wait and buy one item at a time. Otherwise you're paying for convenience. I still go to specialty stores for some higher-end stuff (e.g. yarn, dressmaking supplies) but they're well stocked for scrapbooking, flower arrangements, beading and framing supplies.

Awesome Craft Store. Big Box. Trouble navigating through the aisles just ask. Staff very knowledgeable & willing to share information on 'How To'. Nothing beats a Craft Lover. Bonus weekly coupons in Flyer & Emails if you sign up. Can be Expensive if you get carried away - medium to high. Everything from Canvas, Acrylic Paint, Gesso, Artificial Flora, Pumkins are now in Season, Halloween, Thanksgiving Decor, Fall Wreaths ready made or better yet create your own, Time Pieces to create your own clock, Framing, Ready Made Frames. The list is Endless.

Went in hoping to find more yarn for a blanket project. Got extremely lucky. Sometimes privy for yarn, but decent selection.
