Great staff, brilliant selection just need the time to search!

Mixed feelings about this business. Great selection of stock there is no doubt about that but i've experienced some lacking in customer service and the last time I had visited to restock my stall the two young men cutting my fabric were rude and my partner had overheard them complaining about us wanting only 10m lengths not understanding that I am not a shop and that I have a weight limit on my van. I get a bit of everything for my customers to ensure there is something for everyone and that should have been respected. There still needs to be some organisation because I keep picking high quality polycottons in the cotton section and vice versa, it wouldn't hurt to have clearly signed sections and label prices on each roll (as in the sale section) and detail quality. This would help me massively as I don't know everything about fabric and also I would be less of a hinderance to staff confirming what is cotton etc when they need to focus on the customers having their fabrics cut, packaged and billed.

I have been a regular customer at Empee for over a year now and always look forward to my fabric shopping visits! The warehouse is stacked with amazing fabrics of all types and the staff are helpful and friendly. You can get lost in there rifling through the thousands of rolls so give yourself plenty of time if you are planning a visit. Online my orders always come through very quickly, there is always somebody available on the phone to help with any queries and the team are always quick to send out samples where needed.

Very helpful, friendly staff, I felt very welcome, fabrics at reasonable prices, not expensive. A lot of fabrics, you have to take a while to look around. You can get samples for free. I would recommend it.
