Loved this shop, very helpful staff, generous with their time and experience. (Probably a good job I don't live closer!) Prices were very reasonable too. Thank you.

Rude staff. I asked if they had any trimming, and the girls working there after judging my appearance replied "yes but only very fancy ones which you may not be interested in" Although she could have seen me only looking at heavily embellished fabric which was exactly what I wanted

We were looking for a particular colour combination of silks, and worked our way through 3 or 4 shops before we got to the silk society. NONE of the other shops had adequate variety of colours, but The Silk Society had an amazing selection of all the colours we wanted, AND amazing customer service. Valentina helped us pick out six colours and then asked what we'd be making, so that she could recommend lengths of each. They also made us a sample card (two of us shopping, one taking the fabric, the other the samples). Simply fantastic, and 100% recommended.

Very nice customer service and helpful. Prices are fair. The selection of fabric is really varied and lush. A breeze of fresh air compared to other shops in the area which have awful unfriendly staff. Will come back for sure and will definitely recommend to my friends.

Lovely shop if you're shopping for fabric for a special occasion. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
