Offers a great variety of fabrics for extremely affordable prices. Good for students and young designers who use fabrics for experiments and don't want to spend a fortune. The staff is normally busy organizing stock so don't expect them to treat you like royalty - simply approach them with a friendly attitude and you'll be able to get fabric swatches and discounts. The only downside is the cash-only policy.

Probably the best place for fabrics,i mean very good fabrics also at affordable prices. Just too much.i always like to pay visit anytime that i am around east London.should you need help ask Ali. He is always willing to help.you would not regret your visit.

My favourite place to buy good quality fabrics at cheap prices. Unbeatable! Woolcrest is like Ali Baba s cave. Amazing choice of fabrics. The staff are really cool too.

i love this place - a true treasure trove for the sewist - and these guys. ignore the 'bad service' reviews, i think it probably says more about the attitude of the reviewer than then attitude of the staff. i've been going here for years and they are no nonsense, old school london. i alway come out with twice as much as i said i would buy but having spent half as much as i would have elsewhere. top dollar place. long may it remain!

I used to come here a lot while I was at university (2016) and the staff were always helpful and polite. Maybe they’ve changed ownership but now it’a quite unpleasant. Mislabelled stock, annoying cash only policy and no samples available. After 10 minutes I walked out. There a other great fabric factories in London. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
