Always good service, friendly and professional. Huge selection of rust free metal sizes available, cut accurately and priced fairly - is why I prefer this place over others.

Usually a good place to buy steel. Cut to size specs usually accurate. Last time I purchased they short shipped me a couple of pieces but had billed me for it. Being on the road all week i had a family member pick it up. I noticed the error a couple weeks later and called them to check the cut sheet against the order, he said he'd get back to me. Still waiting Jeff. Another call yield similar results with another staff member. Like the concept, hate the customer service in resolving a dispute. Someone suggested Barrie welding as an alternate location for steel purchases. Who knew? I thought they were a fabrication business. Update. In the name of fairness I am editing my post. I received a call from metal superstore in Barrie apologizing for the failed resolution attempt and was asked for my future business. Seeing the project was completed and i replaced the missing parts from another source at my cost. Im in no hurry to return. I'd probably let them quote a project but with no resolution I had no other option but to find another supplier to finish the project. Always good to have options. If nothing else someone higher up the food chain caught wind of a bad review and took action. No real financial resolution was made for the mistake but thanks for the call anyway. The take away from this experience is to count your parts before leaving the shipping door. The person who picked up my order doesn't know a round bar from an angle iron. I'm not sure I would have caught it the way it is all bundled up for shipping. We all make mistakes.

"Metal Supermarkets... please hold" Metal is their product, but Service is not. Each time I call to place an order I get put on hold. When I finally placed the order a week passed and no delivery!!

Great people, they spent time with me making Shure my order was done right they made one thing wrong and you'd think it was the end of the world, they made it right if you're in need of one or hundreds, I am about to open the very first Hot Glass Studio in Barrie, and I really need this location as I wouldn't know what to do without them, Thanks Guys

Needed a raised floor plate for the bottom of a small camping wood stove I bought (instead of using sand to protect the bottom from burn out) . Got a quick reply to the quoting form I sent and a very reasonable price for the custom size I needed. They even cut it to size without prepaying. Thanks for making it easy to do business! Will shop here again for sure.
