I had a great experience with Vander Griend Lumber, specifically with Chance and their garage door business. I contacted Chance to get the springs replaced on my door which had recently failed. He was able to get someone out the next day. The friendly technician Jonathan called me when he was at my house and let me know that he noticed that my door (which I had backed into 5 years ago) was damaged and suggested replacing it. I had thought about this but after just finishing a remodel last fall I wanted to hold off if possible this year and just get the springs fixed. The tech said he understood and would just fix the springs. Well the technician did replace the springs but also put on some new hinges on the bottom door to get me through the end of the year. When my wife told him thank you and asked him to put it on the invoice he said he just wanted to make sure the door was safe for my kids and to call him next year when we were ready to replace the door. Suffice to say I will definitely be calling Chance & Jonathan when we are ready next year!

These folks are super helpful and they have really nice lumber, which is all covered so it's dry. They also have a great selection of in-stock hardware and fasteners. And I always get help loading my lumber order. I would always go here if I could.
