We had a wonderful experience making our dream dining table (and matching bench) a beautiful reality. From our initial communications and consultations, we felt like we were a big part of the process. We loved J&S’s instagram feed, reached out, and they were quick to reply. A quick tour around the shop, a visit to the giant slab of 120-year-old Douglas Fir that had been waiting for us to discover it, and we were convinced. J&S kept us in the loop, suggested plenty of great ideas, and delivered an amazing product. They are clearly passionate about their craft, and we are proud to have a piece of their beautiful collection as a centerpiece in our home.

We had them build a mantle for us, which didn’t quite fit, no problem, let’s add a small piece to fix it right? No...we became (as we can only assume) the hugest problem in the world to them, it took repeated requests to get the piece to finish the mantle, which we FINALLY got, ONE YEAR later! They do go on and on about ‘how busy they are’ and don’t actually service the clients they have and make those clients happy at that time (because we were to ‘small potatoes’), we were the problem...typical arrogant millennial owned company. I would find another company, these guys start off great and then quickly don’t have time for you.

We've used J&S for several projects and the work they do is amazing. I look forward to the install every time. These guys are great. I wouldn't use anyone else when it comes to reclaimed wood items.

I had been looking for a low wall/tv unit for some time and couldn’t find anything I liked. I found J&S reclaimed wood through their website & fell in love with the philosophy of reclaiming and their unique style of creating pieces of functioning art (literally) that fit in with my vision of how I wanted my living room. The attention to detail, craftsmanship & commitment, gave me a piece that I will value and love for years to come. Thank you so much!!
