Great product variety and good service

Good choice of both hard woods and soft woods. Good choice of plywood, with custom mill work and cutting done on site. If you don't see what you want, Mark can order it.

I've been going to Lombard's for a number of years now, for everything from adhesives and cabinet hardware, to wood, to Festool power tools and components. I can't think of a single bad experience I've ever had there, off the top of my head. Mark and his crew are great, unfailingly helpful and friendly. The prices are entirely reasonable, especially for a sole dealer in town. I generally purchase one-and-two-board lots of cherry, walnut and maple for some small projects I build and sell, with the occasional larger buy for personal projects. It's only very rarely that they don't have exactly what I need, and that is usually because it's some weird, exotic tropical hardwood that someone has requested from me that I've never even *heard* of before, much less used. They have a surprisingly good selection of Festool power tools as well, much better than I would expect for a small-town store! Overall, a five-star place, I'm darn glad to have them in town!
