I stopped by Northern Building Supply for some wood for my garden and this Cafe is absolutely amazing. A must try when you visit the shop. They have lots of selection for food and the prices are very reasonable!

Cafe' at Northern building supply. Here is a little gem tucked away were no one will find it. Unless you are buying construction supplies. The food is home cooked and fair pricing French toast comb $8.50 .Comes with smiles and thank you. This is for workers and truck drivers and those in the know. Walk up the creaky stairs down the slanted hallway across the twisted floor to the red booths from the 1950's.Don't expect fancy but you get an honest meal fresh an fast. Burgers ,breakfast ,Chinese dishes .

Love it have everything you need for a small to big scale of projects. Lumber hardware or anything for you to build. Reasonably priced as well

I have bought building supplies and tools from them since the mid 1980's! One of the few places you can still get 100% FIR Lumber! The Company has been a Family run operation since WW2 when Bert Thomas built it from scratch. He became a leading member of the community through his fine work ethic, community service, and philanthropy that stretched close to a century; then his boys took it over and now even his grand kids have turned into fine young men who continue the work ethic and quality service that started this enterprise. I can't even imagine how many homes and businesses have been built by their lumber over the years. I will never forget how Bert used to buy me lunch (back in the 80's and 90's in their cafe upstairs). There is so much I could say. I'm now retired, but will never forget Northern Building Supply; a personal quality in all respects that is badly missing in our modern era.
