Rude counter staff mostly

Prices are excellent and their service is good and reliable. I will say in fairness they generally specialize in supporting commercial contractors (which I am) so their prices are rock bottom. I don't go in there expecting the red carpet treatment, just good old honest customer service which they deliver time and again. This is a wholesale type operation so if you want to be coddled you should probably go elsewhere, but also expect to pay more money too PS. their yard sucks if you drive in with a long trailer, but so do most places so its not their fault either

Have been to see these guys a couple of times. They will sell to anyone but they are more of a commercial yard so they aren't set up with a fleet of random staff wandering around to chat about your project. If you know what you need their pricing is fantastic, and so far I have found the quality of wood a substantial step up from more consumer oriented warehouses. Today I saved 25% on insulation, and on my last trip I got beautiful, straight, contiguous 1x2x10 SPF for about the price of the warpy fingerjointed junk at our orange and blue friends...

Good company and good service. I am taking one star off because they charge a restocking fee for everything. Never heard of a 25% restocking fee anywhere else

Dangerous driving behaviour of transport vehicle (Feb 13/18 @ 15:45) . Not aware of my vehicle in the right lane as they attempted move into the right lane ... I was in his blind spot. Blowing my horn did not stop this truck from moving me off to the side of the street. I was forced into the right exit lane at Uptown Mall on Blanchard. I followed the truck to the storage location on Ardersie and spoke to the driver. His first response to me was "I gave you plenty of warning" Excuse me sir but when I see your front signal lights in my peripheree and I am driving in the lane I am intending to be in, I am in your blind spot. This driver immediately placated with insincere apology. Driver here needs to be more aware of blind spots on the road and not use bullying tactics to get into lanes.
