Weird attitude of the owner spoils a shop with great selection. I selected a large format porcelain slab in the store and the staff said they are able to install everything they sell, which I was so happy to hear as my tile setter was not comfortable installing the large format slabs which are as large as 5' x 10'. We needed two entire walls in one bath and another in a second bath covered in these slabs. When the owner/installer called me to arrange an onsite installation quote he asked me if it was new construction or reno, and I told him new and he said he would not install any tile unless he did the whole house. I offered to have him do all of the tile in those two rooms completely and he still refused to consider it. Odd when you think if I was just renovating one bathroom they would do it by that criteria. Maybe they are just too busy right now. Super disappointing! I won't be shopping here again.

Decora has a wonderful selection.Their incredibly friendly staff helped me find the perfect tiles for my kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend going in and talking to Mel!

We recently finished a 're-do" of our main bathroom, after another company had the tile installed incredibly badly. It had only been done a couple of months, when Eric, one of the owners of Decora, came and in and was incredibly sympathetic. He had a crew of 2 take out the tiles and then asked if we minded if he came and did the installation himself. He felt we had already been through enough with the original installation and wanted to make sure it was done to his personal standard, with the understanding it might take a few days longer this way. One couldn't ask for anything better than that! Eric was kind, easy to have in our home and genuinely cared about what we had been through and was determined for this outcome to be perfect! We LOVE it! Can't thank Decora, and especially Eric, enough for turning a bad situation because of a contracting company, into a beautiful room! I will call on them again in an instant!

I recently ordered some tile for backsplash in my kitchen. When I opened up the package of tile some had chips out of them. I called the store and they didn’t seem to care too much about the chips. First response they said that is why you order extra. I find that a really weird response and questioned her on that. I don’t think as a customer we should order extra so the if the product comes damaged we would still be OK. When I questioned her on that she said that this is a bizarre phone call and tried to make me feel bad for asking her to do something about the damaged tiles. I see that the owner responded to my initial post with inaccurate information. We had three full boxes of "sheet subway tiles". Approximately 1/3 of all the sheets had to be returned. I'm not sure what the owner is talking about with 2 individual tiles. I didn't order any individual tiles. Some of the chips were in the middle of a sheet. Possibly they are getting me confused with another client that received damaged product. In the end, the company did go back to the supplier on two more occasions before product arrived that was not damaged. The company did eventually follow up and get what I ordered after a lengthy period.

Prior to my recent dealings with Decora, I was happy to send my renovation clients there to select tile. This will not happen any more. On the simplest of orders (a duplicate order from a previous job) the tile first came in the wrong color, and then took an additional 3 weeks to come in from Calgary. Never once did my phone ring to give me an update on the status of the ultra delayed shipment, nor did anyone at Decora try to offer any compensation as to their mistakes. I had to make several changes to my schedule, and pour money into having my clients floors levelled so they weren't stepping on bare wire, and the only thing Decora would offer was excuses as to why the tile still hasn't shown up. I gave them plenty of time to rectify their mistakes, and a month later, still nothing. Very unhappy, buyer beware.
