Update: Northeast Building Products reached out to me and replaced my defective windows ! Very happy with the new windows ... installer were great Defective windows -- ALL of them. Forced to give one star .... would rather give them none ! Started to have problems after they were installed. Installing contractor ordered new windows -- under warranty because they were determined to be defective BY THE MANUFACTURER ... Contractor suffered serious health issue and is now in a nursing home and never completed obtaining windows. We finally located someone to help us locate the manufacturer .. National Building Products BUT they no longer make this window because of "issues" .. unable/unwilling to help us. We want the windows replaced (keep in mind we will have to pay someone to install, re-do all the hand made woodwork around the windows and paint) ....... "Customer Service" suggested removing all the windows, boarding up our house and delivering the windows to them so they can "attempt to repair".

Had all the windows in my home replaced with NBP windows. 3 years later my bay window started to fog up....as did the side panels a few months later. I Called to inquire about warranty and repairs, was told everything was covered under their limited lifetime warranty. They re-made the windows and called me a month or so later to tell me they were ready for pick up. I asked who is going to make the repairs? Am I supposed to repair my own windows I asked? She told me yes...I said, so your windows have a manufacturing defect and I'm supposed to fix it myself or pay a contractor to fix it your mistake???? Again, she told me yes...their warranty only covers parts...NOT LABOR TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THEIR PRODUCTS. So after many thousands of dollars spent with them...Im left holding the bag. My fault for not reading the fine print I guess. So do your homework before buying any of their products. I wonder how many installation contractors are left holding the bag for NBP with their customers over manufacturing issues that have not a thing to do with the installer or his workmanship, but to keep a customer happy he has to eat the repair. Like I said...do your homework.
