Going into this location was my first experience in Kent (just recently having moved to Nova Scotia from Ontario, it's not a store I had back home). What a lovely, organized, full of selection place! I specifically went for their indoor greenhouse and was not disappointed. Prices, for the most part, seemed reasonable- the selection of starter plants for $3.49 was magnificent and exactly what I had been looking for. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly, giving me space when I needed it but also offering assistance when I needed that. My first impression of Kent is a great one; I hope it never changes!

While I don't love that Kent has moved away from its previously very convenient location next to Mic Mac Mall, I must admit that the new location is tremendous in terms of selection and convenience in the lumber yard. I built a shed shortly after the location opened and was very pleased with the drive-through lumberyard, and the fantastic in-store selection. Another location is actually closer to me now that Mic Mac closed, but I frequently find myself out here instead because of product availability.

Excellent staff and great help. Nice new look with plenty of products that they did not carry at the old location. Even have a greeter to poi t you in the right direction when you go in.

Very impressed with the large new Kent store at the Dartmouth Crossing. Nice clean straightforward well organized design, easy to read signs on the wide aisle ways. Nice greenhouse, outdoor seasonal yard, and drive-thru lumber area as well.

Drove 25 minutes to their new inconvenient location in Dartmouth crossing to purchase mulch on the front page of their flyer the morning the sale began. After waiting 5 minutes for assistance to get the mulch in a fenced in area, was told there was none in stock at this location but there is some in Halifax. Really Kent?? This is your flagship store and you don’t have an flyer item in stock? Silly to have to haul multiple bags through the store on carts instead of easily loading it up alongside the car. Disappointed on my first visit to your new store!
