I dealt with Kevin for the initial quotation and he walked me through everything I needed and was very knowledgeable on the products and services offered by Mermaid. The pricing for our 18' above ground pool was satisfactory and competitive. They also included a few extra items as a part of our purchase. We are just waiting now for delivery and installation. Overall, we are pleased with the customer service up to this point. Highly recommended!!!

Kevin in the sales dept helped make buying a pool a informed and stress free experience. He answered all of our questions about the pool, options, suggestions and installation without hesitation and in a friendly and professional manner with no pressure trying to push extras on us. The pool and equipment was delivered as scheduled on-time and then a week later the installation crew also arrived on schedule. They setup the pool faster than I expected including leveling my backyard very carefully to ensure that the pool would be perfectly level. They told me approximately what time to arrange the water truck to come and everything went like clockwork. We are very pleased how everything went so well. My girls were so excited that they went in the pool as soon as the crew and water truck was done. We brought a water sample to the store to be tested which is a free service and printed out a full report that told me exactly what I needed to add and how much. We would definitely buy from Kevin and Mermaid Pools again! The Robert Family.

We went to several hot tub dealers in the Ottawa region looking for a new tub. When we arrived at Mermaid we were immediately greeted by a friendly customer service agent who directed us to the tub area. After a few minutes of looking we started asking questions. With absolutely no sales pressure the various tub lines and features were explained to us, to include manufacturer location, construction, features and limitations of each style. The different sale features were explained and we left with a great understanding of the tubs and customer service. Two days later we returned to the store and were greeted by a different sales agent with the same informed, friendly approach. We walked out with a great hot tub and a fantastic deal on pricing during one of their sales events which had started that morning. I would highly recommend Mermaid to anyone looking for a hot tub in the Ottawa area!!

I never write negative reviews, but being their customer is made me do my first one (service department). Asked them to come for pool opening, agreed on date and time (Wednesday). They called me on Monday that they are in front of my house, then rescheduled to Thursday, then rescheduled for Wednesday 11 - 3pm. Left work to find out they had arrived at 9 am, turned on the pump and left. Did not install chlorinator or the ladders and when I called them to several times to come and finish the work I got hilarious excuses and they never called me back or responded to my e-mail. Keep doing amazing guys!

Fantastic service from Kevin. He took the time to explain every step and the process of the Spa. Janet helped us out with other questions as we are newbies to Spas. Both very courteous, respectful and smiling! Thank you for an awesome experience! We love our Spa :)
