Absolutely love Lee Valley doesnt matter what the location looks like....although this one has a Planers demo area... I love planers, chisels, anything wood. Great quality items, excellent helpful staff.

I wish I had all the money in the world so I could spend it at Lee valley. Bought some rare earth magnets to hold down wood for my laser. Worked perfectly

Wonderful high quality products and super knowledgeable staff. I would love to get locked in this store overnight...lol

The stuff here is cute but overpriced. I don't mind paying more for quality goods, but Lee Valley's products are not built for life in Alberta and they do not stand behind their products. We paid over $100 for a rain barrel. The spigot started leaking the same summer we got it and all our rain water leaked out. We fixed it with caulking. The entire bottom cracked and broke off over the winter. Lee Valley refuses to do anything about it. The free rain barrels I got off kijiji and bought spigots for are much better than this cute looking piece of junk.

Nice store, but when it comes to hiring, they do have some shades of racism and some staff members are not very kindly to new staff from south Asian origin. You will seldom find any staff from that region. I was once hired there but my life was made hell by some very uncooperative and unkind backroom staff. Though, manager is very nice and kind but she HAS to listen to some old mean senior staff. I love this store as such. A great collection of stuff you will not find in any other store and a competitive price. Very high degree of customer service and inventor. Almost all items have LIFE TIME GUARANTEE. Despite the fact of presence of couple of meanest human being being there, I still go and shop at this store. One should pick only GOOD THINGS. Hope these people stick here and don’t spread their hostile attitude!!
