For those that want much of the same product as will be found in Canadian Tire, but generally t better prices, and better quality I recommend Peavy Mart. Think of it as the store that your Grandpa would patronize if he needed to get a job done. Also, Nancy the front of store clerk is about the sweetest lady you'll ever find working retail.

The store with everything you need. Need a chair? Try here. Need a pot or griddle? Peavey Mart will have it. Bolts? Yup. Spray paint? Got it. Decided to raise bees? Sure! Really need a horse halter and a new t-shirt? This is the place for you! Giant 4 foot metal chicken? Got it! Speaking of chickens, do want live chicks? Guess what?! You can get that too. Plus the coop and the feed. Plan on butchering them? They have the equipment. Rather sit on some patio furniture next to a flowing water fountain and watch everyone else do the work? They have that too. Is your passion to make your own cheese and wash your laundry in a self crank washing machine? Guess What?!?! THEY HAVE THAT TOO! Sorry Wal-Mart. I'm never stepping through your doors. When I can shop for boots and a rabbit hutch and a tea kettle and get me some live chicks in a locally owned and run store, why would I ever cross your big box internationally run threshold again. You ain't got nothing on Peavey Mart!
