Automotive department gave me awesome customer service when going to fix a flat. They were patient with my dilemma and were courteous all while charging me a very reasonable price, to in the end, change my tire. There is tons of room to park, and the store is always clean/organized. I visit here often for everything tools, camping gear, automotive products you name it. Self checkout are convenient and work surprisingly well compared to others lol.

Completely incompetent service department counter staff. I called the store at approximately 12:30 pm on September 22 and talked to them about installing tires and buying some tires that were on sale they told me at the time there was 4 in stock, as well as it said there was 4 in stock on line. I continued to make an appointment to get them installed at which time they had said they could get them on by Sept 26, which I said was fine they were on loose rims anyway and asked if I could drop them off today anyway because I never had time next week, at which time they told me I could drop them off anytime before 9. I arrived at the store at 1:30 pm (1hour after I had talked to them) and had decided I was just going to buy the tires and have someone else install to make it more convenient to pick up later. After an extensive run around at the counter she told me that whoever put the order in only put 1 tire in and asked if I wanted 4 which of course I did. She then proceeded to tell me that they never had any in stock as another women walked by and give a wierd look and said she had just sold them to someone else. Now I am normally a calm type of guy but near lost my s*#@. What a gigantic waste of my time, not to mention the fact I could have missed out on the sale as well if I would have waited until Wednesday to bring in the rims. Won't be back there again. They need to find some competent people to work there.

I walked in with my daughter and someone came and asked me right away if I needed a hand. The staff was very helpful. They also answered all my questions very quickly and efficiently. I also had two very helpful staff members help me with my items out to my vehicle. even though we cannot find some of the things we needed the staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the things we needed.

I find the North Shore has a very good variety of different things. If you cannot find what you are looking for they will call the store at the south end of Red Deer to see if they have the items you are looking for. I am not too Impressed with the automotive service, but that could be just me.

So-so. Nice people but the workers didnt really know the store. .... I think there is a hard time finding people who stick around in the area. Everyone I talked to was new to the store and did not know where anything was.
