We have been to this Rona a few times since moving to town (we like to shop local). I needed more paint for the fence we just built and grabbed 2 cans of paint ... I wasn’t planning on getting it mixed because at other Rona’s it’s hard to find staff to mix it. We continued shopping and was in the tool area when lady saw us carrying the paint and actually asked us if we would like it mixed. I was really impressed and wish I got her name because it was very thoughtful and really a good example of an employee that goes beyond expectations.

I was in the store tonight and watched a lady and her husband buy a door and cart it out to their vehicle. In the parking lot they weren’t paying attention and let the door fall off the cart. They immediate stormed in and demanded a brand new door to compensate the one they wrecked!!! I don’t understand how they thought it was Rona’s fault?? The Rona staff was very calm and respectful offering her a generous discount on a new door but the lady and her husband were unreasonable and stormed out. The whole time the Rona staff was respectful and after the customer left they never spoke poorly of them just went back to work. I was very impressed.

Service has really been going downhill over the past few years. Staff members are completely rude to customers. When I asked about having some wood cut to length (as it was sold by the linear foot) the woman was rude and asked me why I didn’t know how to use a saw. Lack of staff in the yard makes wait times completely unreasonable, waiting an hour to pick up a few fence boards is crazy. The yard is full of garbage, making it disgusting. Completely disappointed in how the management is letting this place go downhill. It’s worth driving to Calgary, rather than waiting at this place, and having to put up with rude staff members.
